     Longevity Check-up in Valencia

    Longevity Check-up in Valencia

    Longevity Check-up in Valencia

The Longevity Check-up is an advanced medical assessment that goes far beyond a conventional blood test. It combines an extensive panel of biomarkers, a calculation of your biological age, and a personalized medical consultation to answer a question a standard check-up does not address: how are you aging on the inside, and what can you do about it?

We aim to do more than just detect disease. We seek to identify—years before symptoms appear—the factors accelerating your aging process (such as inflammation, hormonal imbalances, metabolic issues, and deficiencies) and provide you with a clear plan to address them.

    What is included?

There is no single protocol that applies to everyone.

At Medicality, the check-up is tailored to each patient. The assessment may include:

    Medical history and clinical evaluation

    • Personal and family medical history
    • Medications and supplements
    • Lifestyle habits
    • Diet
    • Physical activity
    • Sleep quality
    • Stress and recovery
    • Alcohol and tobacco use
    • Recent weight changes
    • Symptoms and personal goals

This information helps determine which tests are truly relevant for each individual.

    A 360º health assessment

    • General health and risk factors.
    • Personal and family history, medications, weight.
    • Complete blood count (CBC), kidney function, liver function, and other basic and advanced parameters based on individual needs.
    • Cardiovascular health
    • Blood pressure, lipid profile, and other cardiovascular risk factors.
    • Metabolic health
    • Glucose, glycemic control, insulin metabolism, and body composition.
    • Hormonal health. Depending on age, sex, symptoms, and goals, we can assess thyroid function and sex hormones, among other parameters.
    • Inflammation. Specific markers can provide additional information regarding inflammatory status and cardiovascular risk.
    • Nutritional status. Depending on the case, we can assess vitamin and mineral levels, iron, and other relevant parameters.
    • Bone health, muscle strength, mobility, and balance.            Maintaining strength, balance, and function is key to preserving independence as you age. We assess muscle strength, mobility, balance, and the risk of muscle mass loss.
    • Sleep and recovery: We examine sleep quality, insomnia, awakenings, drowsiness, and regularity.
    • Biomarker analysis. Selection of biomarkers based on each patient’s medical history and goals
    • Mental health, stress, and well-being. We assess stress, mood, anxiety, mental load, and resilience.
    • Social life and relationships. Relationships and a sense of belonging are also part of a healthy life. We explore this in an individualized and respectful manner.
    • Activity, interests, and purpose. Hobbies, learning, projects, and goals. Maintaining connections and pursuing goals are part of an active, fulfilling life in the long term.

    What information do we obtain?

The goal is not simply to hand you a folder of results, but to ensure you understand what they mean and how to act on them. Following the assessment, we identify:

    • Your strengths — what you are doing well and should maintain.
    • Your risk factors — what to monitor or address proactively.
    • Your priorities — which changes will have the greatest impact.
    • Your action plan — what to do next and the recommended follow-up.

When the results warrant it, we may recommend further testing, medical monitoring, or a consultation with another specialist.

For whom is a longevity check-up recommended?

You do not need to be ill to undergo a longevity assessment. There is no specific age for a preventive assessment, although prevention becomes particularly important from the age of 40–50, as certain metabolic, hormonal, and cardiovascular changes begin to occur more frequently.

It is especially recommended for people who:

    • Want a comprehensive health check-up
    • Have a family history of cardiovascular or metabolic diseases
    • Have started noticing changes in energy, weight, sleep, or performance. More information: Energy and Fatigue
    • Want to prevent age-related issues
    • Wish to optimize their health before symptoms appear
    • Are going through hormonal changes (menopause, andropause). More information: Hormonal Health
    • Want to improve their body composition
    • Engage in sports and wish to better understand their health status
    • Want to establish a long-term preventive strategy

What is a consultation like? What do you receive? How much does it cost?

    What the visit involves

    • Initial consultation. We discuss your history, goals, and symptoms. Functional strength and balance tests. Body composition analysis.
    • Biomarker analysis. Performed at a partner laboratory where appropriate (test not included in the price).
    • Analysis. Your results are processed and reviewed in depth by a physician.
    • Results consultation. We sit down with you to explain what your data means—without empty technical jargon—and what it reveals about your future health.
    • Your personalized plan. You leave with a concrete action plan covering nutrition, activity, and sleep, as well as—where appropriate and under medical supervision—hormone therapy or a prescribed supplementation regimen.

    What you receive

    • A clear report on all your biomarkers and your biological age.
    • A genuine medical consultation to interpret the results (not just an automated PDF).
    • A personalized, actionable plan.
    • The option for follow-up visits to re-evaluate and adjust. Longevity is a process, not a one-time visit.

    What is the price?

    The Longevity Check-up costs €259.

If you have private health insurance, certain additional tests (blood work with biomarkers, DEXA scans, advanced cardiovascular exams) may be covered.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is it the same as a comprehensive medical check-up?
Not exactly. A general check-up focuses on detecting disease. The Longevity assessment adds a broader preventive perspective—covering metabolism, hormones, strength, sleep, mental health, and habits—and integrates age- and gender-specific screenings into a holistic view.

Do I need to be sick to have it done?
No. Many people come precisely because they feel well and want to stay that way. Prevention identifies risk factors before symptoms appear.

At what age does it make sense?
It can be useful from age 30–35—especially if there is a family history or risk factors—and becomes increasingly relevant from age 40–50 onwards. Prevention knows no age limit.

How often should I repeat it?
It depends on you and your results. An annual follow-up is appropriate for some people, while others may require a different schedule. We do not automatically repeat every test every year.

    Is it conducted in English?
Yes. We provide services in Spanish, English, and German.

Can I start with a video consultation if I live abroad or do not yet reside in Valencia?
Yes, you can begin the process online—which is useful if you are considering moving to Valencia or travel frequently.
